C-Store Owners: Earn extra profit AND increase customer satisfaction

   

As you know, the C-Store digital world has been full of hype, lies and broken promises. Being part of it, I have seen the good, the bad and the ugly. Over the past few years I have been able to step back, listen to station owners about what they want, need and deliver the best means for everyone to make money.

C-Stores usually have a 1,000 feet area around their store that can be better utilized. Consumers stand there with nothing to do for 3-5 minutes, 6-8 times per month. The C-Store that can truly entertain, engage and drive that consumer from the pump into the C-Store, where most the profits are made, is poised to make a large amount of money.

Here is what we came up with:
Ad Oasis (AO) signs an agreement with a station to strategically place a jointly agreed on number of AO units at the C-Store. Next AO will then pre-sell advertising spots for each station. When, and only when the spots are pre-sold, with signed contacts and received money, we will go back to the station to work together and select the best of the following 3 choices:
1. The station can purchase/lease the AO units and keep the estimated $50,000+ in annual sales for themselves.
2. The station can split the AO units, and then split the estimated $50,000+ in annual sales.
3. Or, the station can choose not to outlay any cash and AO will keep the estimated $50,000+ in annual sales.

For each option, AO will coordinate all of the advertisement sales for you, which makes this a worry free solution.

The digital video screen will be split into 3 zones. The middle zone will play a 4 ½ -minute loop. Half of that time will be dedicated to content that will keep the consumer engaged. Experience has told us that a 4 ½ minute loop is best for a variety of reasons, yet most importantly we wanted, on average, for each customer to see a paid advertisement. We also found that if we run a loop longer than 5 minutes consumers get bored and quickly stop paying attention.

An important aspect of the C-Store Digital signage program is content. If you cannot keep the consumer engaged and happy, as in the past, programs fail. This is what makes the AO different and stand out above and beyond previous programs. We’ve found it’s best to run live weather, sports scores and news feeds. Daily Show Biz minute, photo trivia, sports bloopers, etc, all will be updated daily. If you keep the consumer engaged, they will keep watching and have a positive experience. Positive experiences=repeat customers=PROFITS!

Each station will receive 8 advertising spots on the bottom zone to help drive customers inside, promote their specials, and support the community, all of which can be updated on a daily basis by the store manager.
